This partnership strengthens the Festival's connection between film, environmental storytelling, and community by creating a vibrant music atmosphere throughout the weekend.
Attendees can look forward to a variety of events, including pop-up performances, films paired with live music, music-themed speaker panels, and a limited edition vinyl soundtrack.

In celebration of the 25th anniversary, Madcap is producing a special limited-edition commemorative soundtrack on vinyl inspired by the 2027 Festival theme, Momentum.
This release will showcase the emotional connection between music and picture for environmental storytelling, and the impactful movement Wild & Scenic has had over the years. eaturing a compilation of original songs from Nevada City, CA and throughout the nation.
The festival soundtrack will include around 10-12 licensed tracks available on a limited-edition vinyl, which can be only be purchased by preordered or in person during the 2027 Festival Feb 18-22, 2027.
25% of the proceeds benefit SYCL and its environmental initiatives, particularly the Salmon Expeditions.

Submitting music does notate us to release your music, nor does it transfer ownership of your master recording or any other intellectual copyright aspects to us without a final signed licensing agreement.
